A life of faith

Andronicus is remembered with the martyrs Tarachus and Probus. The source identifies him as the youngest companion, from Ephesus. The three were arrested at Pompeiopolis in Cilicia and taken through several cities during their imprisonment. The calendar places their martyrdom during the persecution under Diocletian and Maximian.

The Eastern Orthodox Church remembers saints in prayer and commemoration. Their lives offer examples for Christians learning to live their faith.

A reflection

Andronicus’s remembrance invites care for young people who face persecution alongside older companions.
