A life of faith

Chiril of Axiopolis is remembered among the martyrs associated with ancient Axiopolis near present-day Cernavodă. The official calendar records an inscription discovered in 1947 that preserves the names Chiril, Chindeu, and Tasie. It provides little separate biographical detail for Chiril of Axiopolis.

The Eastern Orthodox Church remembers saints in prayer and commemoration. Their lives offer examples for Christians learning to live their faith.
