A life of faith

Eudoxia was the youngest of Athanasia’s three daughters, alongside Theoctiste and Theodota. Arrested with her family near Alexandria, she was among those whom Cyrus and John came to encourage. Eudoxia is remembered as eleven years old when she suffered martyrdom with her mother and sisters at Canopus.

The Eastern Orthodox Church remembers saints in prayer and commemoration. Their lives offer examples for Christians learning to live their faith.

A reflection

Remember the youngest and most vulnerable when a household is under strain.
