A life of faith

Eupsychius came from a Christian family in Caesarea. During his wedding celebration he destroyed a pagan temple and urged other Christians to join him. Julian imposed punishments on the city. Eupsychius was tortured, refused idol worship and was executed.

The Eastern Orthodox Church remembers saints in prayer and commemoration. Their lives offer examples for Christians learning to live their faith.

A reflection

Eupsychius’s remembrance invites reflection on holding convictions while considering the effects of our actions on the wider community.
