A life of faith

Gregory loved study and Scripture from childhood. He lived in Carthage, Antioch, Jerusalem and Constantinople before becoming bishop of his native Agrigentum in Sicily.

The Eastern Orthodox Church remembers saints in prayer and commemoration. Their lives offer examples for Christians learning to live their faith.
