A life of faith

Habib Khasha, the son of Nicholas, became a priest and served families in Damascus. The official diocesan account remembers his visits to parish homes and his generosity toward people in need, including sharing food from his own household. He was killed near Mount Hermon in 1948. The Church commemorates father and son together on July 16 while preserving their separate lives and ministries.

The Eastern Orthodox Church remembers saints in prayer and commemoration. Their lives offer examples for Christians learning to live their faith.

A reflection

Habib’s example invites you to notice a household in need and offer practical help within your means.
