A life of faith

Hrisaf is named with Valerie among the martyrs commemorated on October 25 in the Romanian Orthodox calendar. The brief notice preserves their names without a fuller account of their lives.

The Eastern Orthodox Church remembers saints in prayer and commemoration. Their lives offer examples for Christians learning to live their faith.

A reflection

Hrisaf’s brief commemoration invites prayerful remembrance beyond the best-known saints.
