A life of faith

Junia is remembered alongside Andronicus among the early Christian missionaries named by Paul in Romans. Their shared ministry brought people to Christianity and helped establish churches. The Romanian calendar preserves their joint commemoration and the later discovery of their relics near Constantinople.

The Eastern Orthodox Church remembers saints in prayer and commemoration. Their lives offer examples for Christians learning to live their faith.

A reflection

Their shared ministry invites attention to the work that becomes possible through faithful partnership.
