Saint Paisie of Sihăstria Putnei

Paisie served as a priest and abbot before settling at Sihăstria Putnei. There he lived alongside Sila and Natan during a difficult period for the community. The official calendar remembers his prayer and spiritual support. Paisie was not the abbot of Sihăstria Putnei; his place in the community should not be confused with the leadership of his companions.
