A life of faith

Peter is named as a priest among the fifteen martyrs of Tiberiopolis, now Strumica. Before their execution, the received account remembers him protesting the killing of people against whom no crime deserving death had been proved. He is commemorated with the group on November 28.

The Eastern Orthodox Church remembers saints in prayer and commemoration. Their lives offer examples for Christians learning to live their faith.

A reflection

Speak carefully for someone who is being treated unjustly, and seek a safe way to offer support.
