A life of faith

Polyxena is remembered as the sister of Xanthippe. The received account describes her traveling to the eastern part of the Roman Empire and receiving baptism from the Apostle Andrew with her friend Rebecca. She later returned to Spain with the Apostle Onesimus.

The Eastern Orthodox Church remembers saints in prayer and commemoration. Their lives offer examples for Christians learning to live their faith.
