A life of faith

Quadratus was arrested during a persecution of Christians in Nicomedia. As the prisoners were taken through several cities, he confessed his faith and encouraged other Christians to remain faithful. His life also recounts his destruction of idols in a temple. He endured imprisonment and was eventually executed.

The Eastern Orthodox Church remembers saints in prayer and commemoration. Their lives offer examples for Christians learning to live their faith.

A reflection

Quadratus recalls the importance of encouraging people who face pressure beside us.
