A life of faith

Romulus was among six young Christians who publicly declared their faith before the governor Urban at Caesarea in Palestine. Imprisoned during Diocletian’s persecution, they were joined by Agapius and his servant Dionysius. Romulus is remembered among the eight martyrs who were eventually beheaded.

The Eastern Orthodox Church remembers saints in prayer and commemoration. Their lives offer examples for Christians learning to live their faith.
