Saint Stylianos of Paphlagonia

A life of faith

Stylianos gave his wealth to people in need and entered monastic life. He later lived in a cave, where people came to seek his prayers. His received life particularly remembers his prayer for children and families during illness.

The Eastern Orthodox Church remembers saints in prayer and commemoration. Their lives offer examples for Christians learning to live their faith.

A reflection

Stylianos’s remembrance invites practical generosity and prayer for children and families facing illness.
