A life of faith

Theodotus preached in Cyprus and became bishop of Kyrenia. He endured imprisonment and torture during persecution and survived to return to his community. The calendar remembers his peaceful death after that return.

The Eastern Orthodox Church remembers saints in prayer and commemoration. Their lives offer examples for Christians learning to live their faith.

A reflection

Theodotus returned to his community after suffering. Consider what helps a person resume service after a difficult interruption.
