Saint Therapon of Cyprus

A life of faith

Therapon is remembered as a bishop and martyr of Cyprus. The calendar connects his memory with the transfer of his relics to Constantinople during attacks on the island. A church there was dedicated to him.

The Eastern Orthodox Church remembers saints in prayer and commemoration. Their lives offer examples for Christians learning to live their faith.
