A life of faith

Thomas was a soldier before entering monastic life. He left his former occupation and withdrew into the wilderness at Maleon in southern Greece. His life remembers his prayer and the healings associated with him.

The Eastern Orthodox Church remembers saints in prayer and commemoration. Their lives offer examples for Christians learning to live their faith.
