A life of faith

Timothy is remembered among four Christians who left Nicaea during persecution under Julian and traveled through Thessaloniki to Tiberiopolis, now Strumica. The received account says that he became bishop of Tiberiopolis. He is named among the fifteen martyrs commemorated on November 28.

The Eastern Orthodox Church remembers saints in prayer and commemoration. Their lives offer examples for Christians learning to live their faith.
